Went to Tria for an evening with one of my girlfriends and my furry friend and enjoyed the outside built patio ! It was the perfect gem on the corner of Samson street and the staff was super attentive and friendly; especially James. What Darija Leskur doesn't like about Tria Cafe Wash West:
This place is cute and the food selection was eclectic and appetizing. The 20% gratuity charge was excessive because we received mediocre service and were ignored for the first 15 min upon arrival. The food portions are large, which is great because it was one of the most expensive tabs we had while visiting downtown Philly. View all feedback.
As we couldn't find any dinner reservations available, we successfully snagged a lunch spot outdoors. The outdoor seating was pleasantly warm, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We faced minimal wait times, and the food was excellent. Just a quick tip: the tables outside aren't completely stable, so if you prefer a sturdier surface, dining indoors might be a better option. Nevertheless, this small issue didn't affect our overall experience, and we would definitely consider returning for another meal.
I was able to secure a last-minute reservation for a late lunch on one of the first lovely spring days in Philadelphia. The wine selection was outstanding, and I enjoyed what might be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had: the Claudio Mozzarella Panino, which included crispy prosciutto, roasted tomatoes, pesto, and garlic vinaigrette. The salad that came with it was delightful, and the sandwich was crispy and full of flavor! The staff were also exceptional. I would highly recommend this spot for lunch or just a glass of wine!
I had a fantastic evening at Tria with a friend and my furry companion, enjoying the beautiful outdoor patio. This place is a true treasure located at the corner of Samson Street. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, especially James, who really enhanced our experience. I appreciated the complimentary wine tasting they provided to help us choose the perfect wine. Although they don't have a happy hour, their food selection is impressive! I particularly loved the smoked salmon salad, the goat cheese and pesto bruschetta, and the truffle mushroom bruschetta (a must-try for mushroom lovers). The food paired perfectly with the wine and arrived quickly at our table. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it tends to get quite busy!
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a lunch date with a friend. I quickly made a reservation on OpenTable to ensure we had a table, as it was surprisingly busy at 1 PM on a Friday. The staff were amazing—warm and welcoming. The drinks were excellent; we tried the Fig Sour, which was outstanding. We ordered the asparagus artichoke salad and the truffled mushroom panino, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. We also shared the flourless chocolate cake, but it was a bit hard and somewhat lacking in flavor, though that didn’t take away from our overall experience. I really loved the trendy atmosphere!
This restaurant boasts a lovely ambiance, and the menu features a wide array of enticing dishes. However, the mandatory 20% gratuity seemed a bit steep, especially as we only experienced average service and were neglected for the first 15 minutes after our arrival. On the positive side, the portion sizes are substantial, which is appreciated considering it was one of the more expensive meals we had while in downtown Philadelphia.
