What Randy Mobley doesn't like about The Irish Rover:
Food was OK but pricie...Our party of 6 was seated next to a door which lead to the outside tables. The door didn't close automatically and every time a server went through it I had to close it to keep bees from entering...2 got in and I had to kill them by my hand wrapped in a napkin. When I made reservations I was told that we couldn't stay more than an hour and a half !!!If it weren't for our son's girlfriend havin... My favorite Irish spot around and the best pour of Guinness in the city.
Phenomenal first time experience! My first time at an Irish restaurant and I honestly wasn't expecting much, but the experience was actually fantastic. Their lamb cabbage rolls were very delicious and well-cooked, but my favorite was the Bubble Squeak (fried potato cabbage)! They have different weekly drink mixers, and all kind of international beer to try. I can't recommend this place, definitely try it at least once! 9/10 Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly setting.
Great all the way around food, service and atmosphere. Service was excels and the portions were large.
Always a great time. The food is spot on, service is exceptional and the Guinness poured perfectly. And the craic is always entertaining.
