Honestly I came over here because I couldn't find good parking for Haymarket so I decided to stop here. Friendly staff and everything was good and nice. The beef brisket was so good, plus their BBQ sauce had a good sweet and spicy factor to it. View all feedback.
What Patrick Dolan doesn't like about River Oaks Country Club:
They have no cups or one, so if you want anything to drink with your BBQ you have to buy expensive bottled drinks or water from them. Portions were decent sized and sauce comes with the sandwich, but was too spicy for me and gave me indigestion. Few tables inside and outside. Location was convenient to the water tower, but the atmosphere was truck stop. View all feedback.
It's one of those places that's small but the food is wonderful. I'll go back again!
This establishment is clean, the service is friendly attentive while the food is a complete knockout!! River Rd BBQ is a weekly staple the consistent flavors always deliver!

The best brisket hands down, always tender and juicey. We get the extra large brisket with baked beans or green beans. The price is right for what you get!! The staff is always friendly and professional with a great manager Chrissy. River Road BBQ is worth the drive!!
