Uptown Cafe - Louisville

I've passed by this place during my long walks on Bardstown Road and have always wondered about it.

Uninspiring. This was my 2nd visit to Uptown (previous visit was for dinner) and this time was with a group of nine for a work related lunch on a Wed.

Came here one night on a whim and sat outsideThe prices were inexpensive and the quality was an accurate reflection thereof.

Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????

This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case.
