I was pretty skeptical when I heard they had sushi, but I just had to try. I went with low expectations, but was blown away because her sushi was delicious! Don't sushi your thing? Get egg rolls or roasted rice. Don't you feel that? Then go with some typical bar food that is just as delicious. Wings are the best in highlands. Get the Korean bbqs! If you don't feel food, then they have a decent selection of beer (and... View all feedback.
What kaya caudill doesn't like about River City Draft House:
If i could give 0 stars i would. Wait staff were very rude, asked us to leave when the place was dead because we were monopolizing the space ? We had paid for drinks but that wasn 't enough for them I guess? Very unwelcoming, would Not stop here again. View all feedback.
Came with my daughter on a father-daughter date. Another jewel in the highlands, good food with good service. You have a really good happy hour special with very inexpensive menu items and high-quality foods. We had several of the sushi rolls on the happy hour menu. We had the Philly reel and the spicy tuna reel. Since the prices on the Happy Hour menu were reduced, I expected a little small and insignificant. However, these were large rolls with eight pieces. The diameter of the inside of the rolls were large, which was a huge piece of cream, cheese and fish on the Philly roll. Yum Yum Yum! We also ordered one of the special roles Kentucky roll. They do not skip the expensive ingredients in the reels. Well put together and delicious. Nothing was left! We also got their Korean BBQ boneless wings, they tasted great and had great taste. They had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, so that the spicy was not exaggerated. The chicken was not dry in the middle and tasted amazing! Ambience may have been the least impressive thing, but suitable for the street in the nature of the restaurant. Clean bathroom. Service was pleasant and attentive.
EXCELLENT Sushi and Wings! Very recommended! Had her Heatseeker brick and tasted so good my friend also got one! Come on! Food: 5/5
This is an unassuming drafthouse and chances are you've walked by it many times without realizing what an awesome place it really is. (At least, that was the case for me until recently. Not only do they have a wide selection of beers on tap (it is a drafthouse, after all , but they also have some of my favorite Asian food in the city. Whenever I'm craving noodles, I think of their Chicken Burmese Fried Noodles. Then, it's all I can think about until I'm sitting there sipping on a cold beer and scarfing said noodles down. The portion sizes are big and the prices are very reasonable. Since I love the Burmese Fried Noodles so much, it's really the only thing I ever get. So, I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn it's all delicious. Ian got the Fried Rice once, though, and I know for a fact that heaping pile of fried rice was tasty!
This is a solid food experience, had the shrimps po-boy, very good. Beer selection is great. The bartender is an explosion. Food: 4/5
