What User doesn't like about Ostra:
The menu was unusual and the food felt overpriced. The servers were friendly, but we could hear the loud music from the kitchen competing with the music playing in the dining room. Additionally, the dining area was quite cold, so I ended up keeping my jacket on the entire time. View all feedback.
Some of the best food I've ever eaten. I could live with the Brussels Spirouts. This was my third visit to Ostra and I can't wait to go back. Once the food is served, I remembered that it's soon gone...
Food was average, but the service was superb. Not sure if I’d go back again.
In a city filled with great restaurants, Ostra certainly can hold its own. Do yourself a favor and start with the rabbit corn dogs and lamb or veggie chimichangas. The lamb stroganoff and spicy soft shell crab sliders are two of the best versions of these dishes I've had. Ostra is tabbed to anchor the north end of Frankfort Avenue as well as its place near the top of restaurants in Louisville.
This was my first time at Ostra for a girl's night and we had a great experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! It took a little while for drinks to come out, even without a very busy restaurant, but overall a great experience. Get the brussel sprout appetizer!
What a great dining experience! The fun atmosphere, the creative menu options, and the delicious food made the experience wonderful. The server was delightful friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable and attentive and she made the evening even better. This is a must go place!
