Really good Mexican food right in the heart of downtown Louisville. Wonderful portions and friendly service. I went with the 2 item combination (I burrito and I taco) and was STUFFED! The chips and salsa weren't bad either. Plenty of tables so we didn't have to wait even though it was a busy lunchtime. And to top it all off a Spanish version of Achy Breaky Heart came across the speaker system. What's better than that?!
We just finished our meal at Mi Casita and had to write about it. For the first time in years, a place smack in the US heartland just blew us away. We sampled the (chicken) mole enchiladas and carnitas tacos and both were stellar....both in taste and presentation. We live in the Southwest and have traveled extensively throughout Mexico and this unassuming restaurant in downtown Louisville punches way above its weight. I cannot recommend it enough. Service was also efficient and extremely polite. Just plain great. Cheers.
I had a pretty great experience at this restaurant! The prices are reasonable, the drinks are large, and the service was excellent. The chorizo was particularly delicious!
