I have been to this restaurant twice and everything I tried was amazing. The pupusas are to die for, the horchata is phenomenal, and the carne asada is delicious. The staff is also super friendly. I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Guanaquita:
I ordered the hün and rice dinner (no beans or potatoes, just rice), 2 tamales, 2 tacos, and 2 drinks for $31. They messed up my dinner three times and I gave up. The first time, it was missing everything. The second time, they brought back a portion of rice with everything. The third time, they gave me just a tiny scoop of rice and charged me $13. When I asked why there was no more rice, the server just looked at me... View all feedback.
Ordered Pollo con Tajadas for pickup. 20 min wait time (not bad), friendly staff, delicious food, yummy horchata
Amazing pupusas! If you're looking for something a little different from your standard mexican food but with the same vibe, this place is a MUST TRY!
Great papusas! The ripe plantains with beans/cheese are a must try as well
Really good food, but they take some time to get your food.
My spouse and I tried a mix of pupusas, taquitos, plantains, and a baleada with all the toppings at this restaurant. Every dish was fantastic, with no disappointments. The service was outstanding as well. I would definitely suggest giving this place a try if you enjoy South American cuisine. I especially recommend the baleada if you're looking for a filling and tasty homemade flour tortilla.
