Gary's On Spring - Louisville

Low key, but what a precious stone! I am from Texas and never expected that I would be greeted so warmly in kentucky. I never had a hot brown, but I can't.

Actually, when I heard that gary’s on jump had closed, I was not surprised. we have recently dined at gary’s for valentine’s day and were not impressed.

Tried this place to give famous hot brown a try. I wasn't really impressed to be honest. it wasn't bad, but I had better hot browns safe the.

We were at gary’s at several locations. all very well, but this last visit. service was exceptionally bad for a restaurant of this quality. it was obvious that the young man was overwhelmed with the number of tables he had to deal with. the drinks were slow and wrong. the order was very slow in coming. Eat was good, but steak overcooked. the chef came out to solve problems (more other tables had similar complaints.) we really feel that this whole experience is due to the fact that the management was not right in preparing our young waiters. he was a very pleasant young man, and it was clear that he tried to do his best. the cook actually called him to the table when we tried to explain our problems. he has brought the poor guy to the spot. it was very embarrassing for him and unpleasant for us. the chef then said that they probably need more waiters that we told him we believe this is a management problem and then leave. our waiter will most likely be excellent if he is properly trained and experienced. no restaurant of this kaliber should allow a worker to perform his tasks without completely preparing them.

Eating was amazing and the menu had a very good choice. our server was helpful and very nice throughout the meal. we will return to gary soon!
