Buds Tavern - Louisville

The food was alright; I had a fish sandwich which wasn't the best I've ever tasted, but it was decent. The service was excellent. However, the atmosphere felt a bit outdated. Additionally, the prices were surprisingly high, nearly double what I could find just down the street for drinks. Overall, it was decent, but I can think of other places I'd prefer.

They had a special lasagna that was delicious. My husband ordered a fish sandwich, and since he's quite particular about fish, he was pleased and said it was very good. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all the customers were well taken care of.

This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I ordered the smoked wings, which had no flavor whatsoever, paired with the honey chipotle sauce that I found quite unpleasant. The baked beans were awful and tasted like they had beer mixed in. The mac and cheese was the only dish that was somewhat acceptable, but even that ended up in the trash. I take my food seriously, and I felt like I wasted $25.

The meat is not seasoned and tastes like it was sitting in water. Their food used to be really good but they have fallen all the way off. The only thing I liked was their onion rings.

Bartender very friendly, wings are decent they need to change the oil out for sure. atmosphere laid back and joyful.
