What Chris likes about Blue Dog Bakery Cafe:
So far I believe Blue Dog to be the best bakery in the Lu. I love their morning glory muffin, it's 100x better than the one from PTY chain (PTY is overpriced and over hyped, if you like it you need blue dog in your life). The orange pistachio schnecken is also my go-to with the muffin, I have yet to try breakfast here but the offerings outside of pastry look superb, and based on the execution of the pastry, probably... We really enjoy exploring the quaint shops along Frankfort Road, so we decided to drop by a charming sidewalk café and bakery called Blackdog. We sat outside to take in the lovely weather and had roasted garlic soup along with a smoked bacon BLT on homemade bread. Both dishes were incredibly tasty.
