The Kitchen Table - Louise

Louie's backyard is located on the beach in Key West. The food and service were very good. For appetizers, we had the grilled shrimp, octopus and garlic along with the bacon wrapped scallops. Both were very good choices. For the main entree, the pork chop is an excellent option and the portion is large.

Great view, service, and atmosphere, but the food was disappointing. Salad was warm, crab cake had very little crab, and sangria was in a tiny glass that was mostly ice.

This is a superb restaurant all around. Fantastic food, great ambiance, and second to none service. We had a a marvelous evening in every single way. It was a extraordinary experience in every way. All the dishes we had were perfectly prepared. And as a final note, Donna our waitress was remarkable.

Stopped in for lunch on the Saturday we arrived in Key West while we waited for our room to be available. Saturday and Sunday they offer a brunch menu. We returned on Sunday for brunch and one day we ate lunch at the bar. Very nice atmosphere. The best conch fritters we had on the island especially with the pepper jelly. We enjoyed all the food and the lovely views.

The views are amazing and therestaurant is very pretty but we were dissappointed with the food. I ordered the steak which was tough and not the quality I would expect for the price, both my husband and my grandaughters meals were very average.
