What a gorgeous spot! The views are spectacular and the inn is amazing. We stayed 2 nights and could not have had a better experience The hosts are tremendous and stop to chat, when time permits. The breakfast and dinner were amazing as was the service. We were not disappointed at all. This place is a must visit when in or around Louisbourg. View all feedback.
What Maryse Legros doesn't like about Point of View:
We booked a 2 bedroom and what we got was a 2 room. When you open the door, there is a bed with a small table, bar fridge and small tv (really? In this day and age). Then walk through that room into the 2nd bedroom. Nowhere to put your suitcase in either room. Blinds did not quite cover windows. The smell of cleaning fluids almost knocked us off our feet when we entered. Only 3 kitchen chairs to sit on to watch tv. W... View all feedback.

We stayed in room 8 at this charming restaurant that offers beautiful views of the town, harbour, and fortress right on the waterfront. The room was equipped with a kitchen, queen bed, dining area, and a comfortable couch facing the water. The balcony also had chairs for enjoying the picturesque surroundings. It was definitely worth the price. Don't miss out on trying the Beggars Banquet while you're there.
These units with kitchens are clean and comfortable. Bring your own food if you plan to cook. Limited provisions in town.

Very clean though.
The view across the bay to the fort is amazing - you can imaging yourself one of the fishing families of the 1740s indebted to the protection of that massive complex - but, for us, it was the clean, modern room with a full kitchen, the sprawling lawn and the private beach that sold the place.
