We purchased the Thanksgiving package and it was a big family winner! Everyone had great things to say about each everything included. Even my 88yr. old Dad 91yr. old Uncle were ravingly impressed! The meat was extremely tender perfectly spiced, the sides each had it's own individual flair. I can't say enough about the taste and how my very discriminative relativesenjoyed it. Thanks to you Mike company, you really did... View all feedback.
What Noel Lane doesn't like about Callie Opie's Orchard:
They had big parties including ours. We had a 50th Anniversary party, but coordinating the food was off the couple was the last to get food. Which upset me. But all's well. Need better coordination training for servers . So they know when it's parties ofdifferent occasions. View all feedback.

Visited for the first time for our anniversary. We sat at the bar, ordered several apps that we shared and then split an entree. Jen, the bartender, was awesome. The bar was almost full and she rocked it. The drinks and the food were fantastic.Struck up a conversation with the manager who was equally attentive. Overall wonderful experience and we look forward to goingback!
We ventured to Callie Opie 's Orchard to try their special fried chicken and like mentioned it was winner winner chicken dinner . 1/2 Chicken four pieces (breast, thigh, leg and wing) was cooked to perfection with fries and broccoli salad. Crispyon outside and juicy tender even cooked throughout. Cindy Robertson Chandler got the Callies salad with added grilled chickenand cranberry vinaigrette. Shout out to a great waitress Abby for taking great care of us.
We met for a Girls? Getaway in Lake Anna. Purely by happenstance we found Callie Opie?s Orchard restaurant as we were searching for a dinner spot on our first night. We didn?t know what to expect, but we were open to the experience. For appetizers, wetried the tomato Boursin cheese dip and the bang bang shrimp. Both were amazing! We all ordered a different entrée in order tocompare notes. We tried the crab cakes (which are huge, BTW), the trout, the shrimp stir fry and the ribeye steak. We wereextraordinarily pleased with all of her meals, even the pickiest of us. Everything was perfectly cooked and hot from thekitchen. And the entreé sides were fantastic, especially the winter vegetables mix. They were perfectly pan-roasted with aslight char and still a bit of crunch. During dinner, we were visited by Chris, the managing chef. He asked about our experienceand explained the origin of the restaurant. He also told us that the menu changes with the season. We were so pleased that wewent back another night to see if the food and service would be as good on a weekend night. Again we were blown away! This placeis a diamond in the rough. We will definitely dine again at Callie Opie?s on our next visit to Lake Anna.
