Lovely hotel. The roof top bar overlooking the lake made us feel like we were in some Mediterranean hot spot. The spa was very enjoyable and the staff in the spa were both professional and friendly. What Martin Obrien doesn't like about Lir:
Was there on Saturday night for the faulty towers experience. The food was very disappointing, considering the cost of the tickets. There was no choice available as it was a set menu that included a plain breast of chicken. The whole thing was dragged out between courses. Service: 3 Location: 5 View all feedback.
Clayton the manager, Augusto in the lounge Anna on the desk were super helpful. They went out of their way to assist us. We had a dog with us our room was a bit shabby but I believe the non-doggie rooms are more superior. Service: 5
Great location for visiting, Galway, Mayo and Clare. Food was excellent and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel was very clean and service was very good. We stayed 4 nights B&B with evening meal on an over 60's deal, value was excellent and we'd definitely stay again. Service: 5
We have ate in the bar now on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. No matter what you have from the menu it tastes fresh and is so filling. The staff are always attentive and courteous. Can’t see passed here for an evening meal out and the prices are just right Service: 5
Busy hotel, always an upbeat and welcoming atmosphere, staff are always friendly, warm and pleasant. Food is always great, with an efficient service. Management are always available to help, beautiful views from the rooftop bar. Rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfy. Hotel is within walking distance of town, park, shops, bus stop, and all amenities. We have had many family celebrations here and never encountered a problem. Would highly recommend .
