I had a fantastic stay at Sullivan's Royal Hotel! The bed was very comfortable, and the nights were quiet and restful. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The food was excellent, featuring traditional Irish cuisine that’s ideal for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Irish culture. We ultimately decided to leave, and I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but we couldn't shake the feeling that this awful treatment was because we aren't Irish, and my friend is of African-American descent. The staff here is truly amazing, and this is my favorite restaurant in the city. The prices are reasonable, and the warm welcome really makes a difference. Overall, I would rate the service and location both as 5 out of 5. One of the highlights of this place is its quiet atmosphere.

I didn’t want to make a scene since my friend was already having a tough birthday experience, but this behavior is unacceptable and should be addressed. I would strongly recommend that others avoid this place.
Regularly visited by family and we can see why, good wholesome generous portions of food served with a smile. Scrumptious turkey and ham with all the trimmings and succulent salmon, really tasty. Whilst we absolutely didn’t need dessert, we managed to devour apple crumble, trifle and ice cream. Thriving restaurant in a small hotel, good food, service and value.
A restaurant that demonstrates the value of a warm welcome and genuine, kind customer service. Visited to have a break during a difficult and tense few hours, and felt much better for it. You feel really valued, like the staff care about the welcome they give and the service you receive. We had breakfast, which was lovely. A truly comforting place for a meal.
