Growen restaurant located in Lostallo in a cold and narrow area of the Italian Grisons, presents itself as a warm and welcoming restaurant where the tradition of game meets the technique of an excellent chef. Enough talking: the saddle of roe deer is really good, one of the best we have tasted so far. The presentation, quality and side dishes are of a high standard and even when faced with the second course you are encouraged to continue with the meal. The melon, the Chinese mandarins and the glazed (not caramelized) chestnuts are really interesting. The accompanying sauce is tasty enough, be careful not to overdo it because it would cover the delicate taste of the roe deer. The mushroom bed is also interesting, truly a discovery. Cellar full of wines and top notch desserts. Price in line with the quality and certainly worth the culinary experience. We'll be back soon!
Cozy place and friendly staff, the food is good. The problems turn out to be the price given the quantity of food, rather small for the cost, but above all the sleepless night due to possible food poisoning. Called the restaurant and explained what had happened, we were told Sorry, it could have been the mushrooms, it 's happened before . In a restaurant like this I certainly don 't expect to risk feeling bad for a reason that has already happened in the past. Furthermore, as an apology for the problem caused, no refund proposal was made (even just the dessert or the bottle of wine, which also tended towards the cheapest), or a voucher. It 's a shame because at the beginning of the evening it looked promising.
Excellent gourmet cuisine with products from the valley. Sensational hospitality! Gladly again!

Today we have come to lunch here and enjoy everything to the full. starting with a flourish of francia corta sekt, my brother and his friend order the large menu with several cures: venison carpaccio goose leber paté gnocchi with venison sauce. tagliata of rendeer with spezle, marroni, red cabbage, pear steamed in red wine. cheese plate chocolate mousse tart but I couldn't pamper is such an impressive menu, so I decided for a venison ravioli suppe with various mushrooms, a real tasty egg. as a main course I had a rendezvous snell wrapped in lardo di colonnata by late zle, marroni, red cabbage and red wine birne.
Sono stato sia a pranzo che a cena...il pranzo mi aveva stupito quindi son tornato per testare la cena...tutto spettacolare...L'accoglienza del personale, gentilissimo, simpatico e disponibile. Carta vini ben fornita e cantina veramente carina. L'eccellenza è arrivata con i piatti...menu gastronomico da provare assolutamente! La qualità si paga e devo dire il giusto. Ci tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente. Davvero una bella esperienza!
Il cuoco Alan Rosa, conosciuto tramite la televisione, ci ha sempre entusiasmato preparando piatti che solo a vedendoli, sembravano squisiti. Abbiamo voluto recarci di persona presso il suo ristorante situato in una posizione strategica (100 metri dall'uscita autostradale di Lostallo). Ampi posteggi a disposizione della clientela. Bella terrazza. L'interno è arredato con uno stile gradevole. Il personale è cordiale e capace. Lo chef signor Rosa una persona "alla mano", molto gentile. La cucina è stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Ci torneremo molto presto.
Sono già molte volte che scelgo il ristorante Groven per le cene. Consigliatissimo per cene di lavoro o per coppie. I prezzi sono leggermente alti ma assicuro una soddisfazione al 100%.Se volete una cena di gran classe (e magari per fare colpo con la dolce metà o con colleghi di lavoro) lo consiglio assolutamente! Bravissimi
