This place is so awesome, great rotating beer selection! The food is amazing. I have had almost everything on the menu and have probably been over 25 times! This place is so awesome, great rotating beer selection! The food is amazing. I have had almost everything on the menu and have probably been over 25 times! The pizza with sausage topping is my go to. The turkey meatball sliders or sandwich is top of the line! Salads, hot and cold sandwiches, calazone, pineapple upside down cake, cinnamon rolls, all have been great, but what sets this business apart from others is the customer service and attention to details. I would recommend this place to anyone, good for families, just a beer at the bar and everything in-between!
The secret to good pizza is to use good ingredients. I know that’s not exactly shocking information, but you’d be surprised how many pizzerias think the quality of one part can make up for the lack of quality in another. A few slices of good Canadian bacon will not cover what’s lost by then using marginal basil. I have never had an ingredient on a Nardone’s pizza or in one of their calzones that wasn’t really good and if you think that’s random or I’m being picky remember that success in anything is in the attention to detail. The people at Nardone’s have paid attention to those details and it shows in both the quality of their food and the comfortable character of their atmosphere. Near the center of Baywood’s recent revival is Nardone’s and they do their part to contribute to the look, feel, and taste of that resurgence. It has an old school Baywood feel to it. It’s like the taste of Planet Pizza with a bit of the the ambiance of the Salty Pelican. Not only is it a nice place to sit and have good food, but it’s also a great place for that afterwork beer. For too long the only afterwork beer option by the bay was The Merrimaker. Don’t get me wrong, the world needs it’s dive bars, but the world doesn’t need them on a work night. Nardone’s provides a nicer safer alternative to rolling the dice on the Maker. Nardone’s: Good people, good food, good atmosphere, and good dose of feel of old Baywood.
You all need to check this lovely family run by love and pizza place. A place to come enjoy a drink and pizza at the bar with friends or sit around and watch the game. Or you can come with the family and have a nice meal. So much more than just pizza.
We are all still talking about how delicious our food was, days later!!! One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The calzones were amazing and the caprese salad to die for! We will go back every time we go to the coast!!! For sure!
Always enjoy our at nardonne's! We usually get the works and a side of anchovies and pineapple and large mixed greens or cesser salad. I also like the meatball sliders. Ben has a great selection of wines and IPA beers on tap. Tonight we got a pizza deliver and salad. Very speedy delivery! Debbie sorensen
