Kuma. - Los Osos

Kuma is one of my favorite places to dine. The food is always tasty and the service and atmosphere is great. Highly recommend a visit for authentic ramen as well as sushi etc. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

I don't want to exaggerate, but this may be my favorite restaurant I've ever been to. The food is phenomenal. I have not had one thing from Kuma that I did not absolutely love. The flavors of all their ramen broths, the pork belly fried rice, the appetizers, the rolls and sashimi. Everything is made fresh to order, using extremely high quality ingredients. The service is always great and the location is so cool. The vibes of this place are IMMACULATE. If you're even within an hour drive of this place, make the drive and eat here. Make sure to finish off your meal with the green tea ice cream. It's pretty much the perfect dessert.

Kuma was a real fun experience! I had the Yakisoba which I wish we had a picture of but I guess I ate it too fast. Servers were really pleasant and the food came out quickly. The itchy dragon roll was recommended and it did not disappoint. Kids were obviously stoked about the tempura batter dessert cake! Great ambience and I would recommend for a nice family dinner/date night or just a nice meal with a friend. Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4 year old and 11 year old and we sat on the deck and it was fun for them by the fire pit.

I've been visiting Kuma anytime I'm in the area for the past 5 years or so and I can say it's some of the best sushi I've ever had. Highly recommend their Sushi and Ramen as well as the spicy edamame. It is absolutely delicious! Their simple rolls are their best- they load them up with extra fish on top! So fresh and delicious! 1st off the staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was awesome. It was a chilly day today and decided to sit outside. The server fired up the pit at our table which was awesome! Now the food! I ordered a simple tonkotsu pork ramen and an ichi dragon roll. The tonkotsu broth was extremely rich and flavorful as it should be. I could tell they cook their broth for many hours. The noodles were firm just as I like them. I ordered spicy so they gave me a side of a spicy chili paste which gave the dish the fire I wanted. Also got hot green tea that was a mix of different teas. It was good! Overall I had a great experience with this restaurant. The food came quick and everything tasted wonderful. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff. Il definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area!
