Aldo's Cafe - Los Gatos

My new favorite spot for Italian cuisine! This restaurant has been around for a while, but I recently rediscovered it when I was craving Italian food to celebrate my birthday with a friend. The salads were just as I remembered—fresh and seasonal vegetables that clearly showcase their commitment to sourcing the best ingredients. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauces were spot-on, and the chicken was wonderfully tender. I loved the thin crust pizza, which featured unique toppings that pleasantly surprised me. We finished our meal with tiramisu for dessert to celebrate—absolutely amazing! The decor, adorned with photos of Italy, evoked fond memories for my friend, who has traveled there. The atmosphere is elegant but not overly formal. I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s popular with the locals, so it's best to call ahead and make a reservation.

The service from the servers was excellent. However, the food didn't impress me much. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, but it had almost no flavor in the cheese! I was quite disappointed.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The pasta I ordered was not good at all, and the noise level was unbearable. On top of the general noise in the place, there was a musician playing music that was both annoying and excessively loud. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this restaurant; I suggest looking elsewhere.

Excellent food and service. My first visit, and I really enjoyed the lasagna.

A gem in Los Gatos. I come here often for lunch and dinner. The staff and the food are great! The Monte Cristo is a must have.
