What divyaj doesn't like about Tulsi Indian Eatery:
One positive aspect of this restaurant is that they have clearly labeled vegan options on their menu. However, the downside is that the food quality is lacking. The momo Manchurian was disappointing, with thin momos covered in store-bought Manchurian sauce. The dosa was decent, but the coconut chutney served with it was bland. The Sambhar was decent, while the tomato chutney was tasty. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers good value for the price, although I have had better Indian food elsewhere. There is street parking and a public garage located across from the restaurant. It is a self-service restaurant that serves quick Indian dishes. I recommend trying the butter masala dosa, it was delicious.
This restaurant is my favorite place for delicious Indian cuisine. The prices are very affordable, and they offer a wide selection of curries to choose from. Despite being vegetarian, the food tastes authentic. Be sure to take advantage of the family meal deal, which is possibly the best value in Los Angeles.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. The pulav looked unappetizing, the noodles had a bad smell and seemed spoiled, and the katori chat filling was cold and frozen. The chole was watery and all the curries tasted like water had been added later. I would recommend staying away from this place.
I tried the combo meal which included Hakka noodles, vada, and Vegetable dum Biryani. The food was delicious and not too greasy. The vada, served with sambar (no chutney), was crispy and tasty. However, the Biryani was lacking in flavor and not very good.
