Great great food!! Picked up an order to go, and it was an absolutely amazing meal! A true dining experience!! The sweet potato casserole with pecan crust should come with a warning that this dish could be addictive!! View all feedback.
Nationally known as top tier steak house, Ruth's Chris did not disappoint. My steak was cooked to perfection as well of the steaks for the other members of our party. The wine selection is superb. Our server really knew her stuff as she recommended how to order our steak's preparation. This particular location will be closed. The new location will be just across from our office building. Can't wait to be able to enjoy this fine restaurant by just walking across the street. Yes, Ruth's Chris is on the upper side of afforability. But quality is rarely cheap. Enjoy !!
My sister took me and my wife here to celebrate my late birthday dinner. I made reservation through OpenTable for today. The plaza where this restrauant is at is basically a ghost town because there only like 3 restrauant left here before they shut down. We arrived early so I checked in with the host and it took about 5ish minutes to be seated. The place is kind of outdated but we found out by our waiter that they will be moving to their new location within 6 days. Our waiter was Lars and he was amazing with us. My sister got her calamari and asked for the sauce to be on the side. My wife got the Sea Bass and asked for mushroom for her side. I went with the Bone In New York Steam and got fries on the side. They told me that the Bone in New York Steak come with a special knife so I get to choose which one I wanted. My sister friend got their Filet Mignon and shrimp. All of our food was delicious and I liked the seasoning on my NY steak. I would highly recommend coming here after they moved to their new location. My score: Food: 5 star, you cannot go wrong with any steak here and their seafood options are amazing. Service: 5 star, the customer service here are amazing as well since it's a luxury restaurant. All of the waiters are nice and will be attentive to your table. Parking: 5 star, you will not have any issues finding parking here since there only 3 restrauant left and everything else is closed. Atmosphere: 4 star, the place is outdated which is why they are finally moving to their new location.
Fantastic! Love the Happy Hour from Sun Fri, 4pm 6pm. Wooooooo! Bargains if you are an early bird. *note* Drove past the place a few times during construction as well. It was nice to see the progress.
My spouse I celebrated our anniversary his on Christmas Eve. Impressed with the new establishment including impeccable service and the food was excellent!
It is always a pleasure to visit Ruth Chris. My wife and I have been going for quite some time and we always have an amazing meal with excellent service. This time we went to check out the new location in Woodland Hills. A much better site in my opinion, especially since the Promenade where the old one was turned into a ghost town. The new digs are really nice, most notably the bar is much bigger and can accommodate larger groups. They also partitioned the space a bit more to cut down on the sound and added private rooms and areas for special events and parties. The food we had was excellent as always. I had the ribeye with a blue cheese crust and my wife had the petite filet mignon Oscar style (crabmeat and asparagus). Both steaks cooked to perfection. We also had THE best appetizer, Spicy Shrimp. Don't let the name fool you, it's not that spicy, but I suppose that is subjective. Personally I would rate it a mild that anyone would enjoy. My one complaint is with the noise. When we were first given our table, the area we were in was very loud. Like a cafeteria loud. Tile floors, glass walls and a lower ceiling created a very loud room, a high pitched kind of loud. However they were very nice and got us a different table in a larger room with higher ceilings and carpeted floors. Our waiter said they were aware and plans were in place to fix the issue. Still, I was a little surprised they didn't factor that in when building the place. Besides that one issue, I like the new location and my wife and I intend to visit again soon.
