I have been a loyal customer of oriel for years, but after a recent unpleasant experience during a dinner with my close friends, I can only give this place five stars. While in the restroom, I was approached aggressively by an old French man who made a racist remark, causing a scene in front of other guests. What User doesn't like about Oriel Chinatown:
a shade at the edge of the city. I almost don't want to be afraid of the secret coming out! this place has a beautiful atmosphere and always plays the right music. the food is some of the best French teller in la. really delicious wine variety, and we can make a bottle each time. can not recommend enough! oh, and come early, they close before most. What a lovely little place. Very chill, with outdoor seating. Parking around here is super easy too. The staff are wonderful, great with suggestions and lovely. Dimly lit, moody, relaxed vibe—quintessential Eastside vibes here. Good for a date, groups, and more.

Only had an appertivo while waiting for a friend. But would definitely come back to try the menu.
Excellent wine selection, great happy hour specials (try the thunfisch rosé they are perfect for each other! super sweet outdoor terrace or indoor seating area thanks to their orange cellophane-coated windows of the florida room / disposable type of their place perfect for an after-work friend date!
What a beautiful place very cool, with sitting outdoors. parking here is also super easy. the personal is wonderful, great with suggestions and beautiful. dimly lit, mood, relaxed mood – here vital ostside vibes. good for a date, groups and more.
