The room we were in was modern and clean. The headboard is backlit red and provides a very romantic feeling. The shower has a low water pressure to change from the hand shower jet to the head. I had to crush the jets with my hand to generate enough pressure to change it. Note: Mama Shelter has two bars, a ground floor and the other is an attic. What User doesn't like about Mama Shelter:
I had a super sweet college-esque cocktail last night and it was $27. How could you ask? The cocktail is listed as $18, but when the bill comes, they add taxes (fair , 18% service fee (first time hear about it, and another fee I don't remember bc I was jacked. $27. Don't go back, unless either the drinks are worth it (platinum flakes? or they improve their policy. In any case, you do not recommend to go. View all feedback.
One of our go-to places for a great rooftop and drinks. The ambiance is super relaxed and the service is great. The menu changes so this time we loved the coliflower nuggets and the wings!! It a must if you are in the neighborhood and want a delicious and beautiful place. While you wait for the roof top you can have a great drink at the bar!! Highly recommend
Unique vibe with amazing service that makes you feel right at home. We showed up tired and there was a bar and restaurant ready for us to settle into right away. There is also a rooftop bar with nice happy hour deals. We did notice the food quality seemed better downstairs than up top. Would recommend only using top for happy hour and not overpaying for a good but not great chicken sandwich.
Nice rooftop bar with a good view to the Hollywood sign and downtown. Beautiful colorful furniture with a big lounge. Music was a bit loud for my liking Food itself was decent. Burger was ok, Fries were excellent. My partner had the crisp tofu with a lot of onions but all in all nothing too special.
Absolutely adored our stay here at Mama Shelter! The hotel was beautiful, cleans and safe!! The staff was so nice and always made sure we had water and anything else we needed which was awesome! The rooftop bar was so much fun to chill and hang out and enjoy a nice drink and look at the HOLLYWOOD sign. Such a lovely place <3 Will be staying here again!
I went here, and it was AMAZING, great atmosphere great drinks.I asked about a salad another girl had and it turned out to be a shrimp sandwich she asked to be deconstructed , with no bread added avocado on the side and it was amazing!!!! I will be getting that again!! Literally 3 other tables ordered the same thing and enjoyed it as well. Anyone that goes if you like a REALLY GREAT salad try it! You won’t regret it! Everything was really really good!
