Feedback
The restaurant received mixed reviews with patrons praising the delicious food, wide variety on the menu, and excellent service. However, some complained about the high noise level that made the dining experience uncomfortable. Despite this, many diners found the decor and ambiance to be beautiful, especially for special occasions. The sushi service was highly recommended, with special mention of the outstanding service provided by the staff. Overall, while some customers experienced disappointments with specific dishes, many still found the overall dining experience to be enjoyable and worth returning for.
Food was elite. Prices were definitely up there though. Only complaint was that it was very dark in the restaurant which made it difficult to read the menus.
The salmon was superb!! The service was excellent but I only wish I sat in the main dining room!
Such a fun vibe and good food. Service was awesome. Loved the sushi rolls!
Super impressed! I sometimes get a bit intimidated going to ultra trendy restaurants, but this wasn’t the least bit intimidating. The staff were friendly, and the service was top notch and the crowd was casual. There was a lot to choose fromon the menu and the waitress was great in explaining everything in detail and answered all questions. When one fish turned outtoo spicy, she even took it off the bill (only one bite was taken). Everything I had was delicious, though for my taste, theonly problem was the Kiiro rolls were too lemony for my liking. As such, there’s nothing at all to fault the actual restaurantwith. The only issue I had is you’re more or less “forced” to pay $18 for valet. It’s crazy. Other than this, Koiis great. Decor, service and food are all fantastic. You must go if you live in, or are visiting, Los Angeles.
What a meal. Everything was perfect start to finish. Really grateful to our server James for leading us in the right direction with every dish. Every recommendation was right on the money. Truly a delight all the way around. Salmon carpaccio (with bakedcrab hand rolls to soak up the leftover sauce) was out of this world good.
