Was Theresa L at Kobunga a mag?
I ordered the Build Your Own Plate featuring pork belly, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, practically melting in my mouth. I really appreciated how the side dish complemented the base and meat so well. The short rib was also packed with flavor and equally tender. The kimchi on the side tasted incredibly fresh! What Ana C dislikes about Kobunga:
Not what I was expecting but it's decent. The sides make the meal more edible. The service was filled with male student staff, friendly. Ambiance outside courtyard is pretty chill. View all feedback.
I was a bit unsure about visiting this restaurant due to its limited side options, but I noticed they introduced some new additions like roasted vegetables (broccoli and Brussels sprouts). I highly recommend trying the cauliflower rice; it had a great texture and a subtle flavor.
The food is quite good, but like many places, they have the iPad tipping system that they show you after you pay, which makes things feel a bit uncomfortable. Because of that, I don’t visit as often.

Overall, this is an amazing dining option near campus. The food was prepared quickly, and the staff was very friendly as well. There’s plenty of seating available around USC Village, and the underground parking is super convenient. I wish I had tried this place sooner; I liked it so much that I ended up going back two days in a row!
During my visit to USC, I checked out a restaurant called Kobunga. While it's not a vegan establishment, it offers a wide variety of vegan options. The only items off the menu that aren't vegan are the meats. I ordered the Soft Tofu with Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce, along with half brown rice, half Japchae noodles, cucumber kimchi pickles, and sautéed corn. Initially, when I saw the tofu, I was a bit skeptical.
