Was Andrea Smith at Pips a mag?
Fantastic jazz by Dave Peterson on Tuesdays, accompanied by an energetic and friendly crowd. The atmosphere is upscale without feeling pretentious or overly sophisticated. The surprise guest singers from the audience bring unexpected talent and a refreshing change to the evening. Overall, it makes for a truly enjoyable night out. Food rating: 5/5. View all feedback.
What Amb Breezy dislikes about Pips:
Pips is a nice experience to dine with live music. The band really adds to the atmosphere. The food and drinks are worthy of a return visit. If there are any improvements, it would simply be around the service. More waiters are needed during peak times on the weekends.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
Loved this place, service music and food was magnificent!!! Highly highly recommend this place.
First time last week, me my girlfriend brought our friend for dinner to celebrate her birthday , we had reservations which was good thing, I will start with the good.1.food was great, great customer service.2. Good jazz music3. Sitting inside is small squeezed but more space on the outside, but we feared the cold even though they had gas chambers to warm folks.4. Loved the crowd 35yrs above, my kind of crowd Not so good 1.valet parking $15 is a rip off, (funny thing when they bring your car around the valet guys gives you this look off, you shld tip them, no sir that ain't happening after charging $15 also one has to be extremely careful when slowing down the busy streets of labrea. I wld suggest come 30min early and look for street parking or park at the gas station, which is where the valet parked their customers cars.2. They charge $3 per person for the jazz music not per table, still someone was walking around with the tip box for you to put the tip in.3. They waiter brought the tip receipt, staring at $37 bucks the cheapest, that was crazy we flat out refused to pay, we however chose to tip cash (the amount we were comfortable tipping
It's been a while since I've been here. But now I remember why I'd like this place so much.Good music, great atmosphere, everybody just having a good time. Vibing definitely would come back here again.
Always a Top Choice! For our date night, we chose our favorite spot to reconnect over delicious food and great live music in a cozy, dimly-lit setting. Since I'm sensitive to salt, I truly appreciate how the chefs consistently get it just right for me.
This place exudes pure charm and a cozy elegance. The staff is warm and attentive, the food is simple yet delicious, and the clientele is great. Plus, the live music is absolutely fantastic!
