I ordered Pad Thai and it was quite delicious! I would definitely return. I do wish there were smaller portion sizes available for some dishes. There are so many I want to try, but I can barely finish one serving on my own. The portions are quite generous. View all feedback.
What Allison Singer doesn't like about Greenview Thai:
This is my favorite spot for Thai food in LA, and I believe they serve the best krapow on the west side. It far surpasses any other krapow I’ve tasted here. The noodles are fantastic as well. The service is consistently friendly and incredibly fast, and the prices are very reasonable. Occasionally, I’ll venture out to try a new place, but I always find myself returning here. Online Order: Solid very customizableExpensive: Fair those lunch specials tho!Large Orders: *chefs kiss*Fast or Slow: Usually with the quicknessParking: Lot but it can fill upTony Notes: This mom and pop kicks ass. We love them a lot. And they box, label, bag, do all that good stuff. Tasty too, I recommend the duck with mixed veggies. That parking lot can sometimes get hairy but, pro tip, there's an underground section with reserved spots you can nab quickly just to load up.
This is one of those spaces that doesn't look like much but really hits the spot. Drunken noodles were amazing! You come in and there's specials on the walls along with the some Thai art. You look at (the fairly standard) menu, and realize that what most places might have as a lunch special (entree with salad and rice) is offered all day here. You order. They ask if you want your tofu fried and what spice level, which is a nice touch that not all other places do. The food comes out. It's a heaping portion. They also bring out small tray of 4 different hot sauces. That's legit. You thought you couldn't finish the whole portion, but it's so good you eat it all and plan to come back.
I have been to Greenview several times for carry out orders and a couple times dined in. It is good quality, clean, fresh Thai food with logical pricing. I love the Tom Kha Soup. The Thai Iced Tea had a lid cover with Winnie-the-Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger which made me smile.They also sell fresh young coconuts that I have taken out too. The interior is well kept clean and very polite staff. Parking lot accessible....
New Year's Day birthday celebration for my husband. Thai Food take away, Apple Pan Banana Cream Pie and 49ers football game with his San Francisco friends ... PRICELESS!!! Ordered when I walked in, perused the menu and waiting over 20 minutes... Betting on it being worth the wait... IT WAS.We had the spicy beef salad, 2 pad thai chicken and shrimps, red veggie curry with soft tofu and crab fried rice. The best Thai food I have had in years. In my neighborhood community, clean, friendly, incredibly diverse in their spice selection and delicious offerings.... easy parking... Run my friends and enjoy this place... I am already thinking about my next foray over there maybe for lunch extra soon. PS Just ate some leftover pad thai. Soooo scrumptious. ;
I have been pleased every time I order from this place it is the best Thai food I have had in LA so far and I’ve been here for three years. The portions are perfect. The flavors are spot on and everything that I’ve ever ordered is delicious. definitely try it if you haven’t had Thai in LA yet.Food: 5/5
