This place was absolutely great! The food was delicious and fresh. The whole vibe was awesome. The staff were so nice and welcoming. The owner was very hands on with everything. He was going around engaging with the customers and making sure that everyone's food was coming out in a timely manner. My Sisters and I had brunch there today for Mother's Day and it was really nice. They also had a saxophonist there that wa... View all feedback.
What Sarah C doesn't like about Fat Tuesday "a Taste Of New Orleans:
Sorry guys. I ordered the most fun looking thing on the menu and I'm just not into it. The fish, shrimp, and oysters on the Peace Maker po' boy was very fresh, but the fry batter was so salty I could only get down a few bites. For such an enormous sandwich there was only a half ounce solo of sauce included, so I didn't have much to dip the salty pieces in. The sandwich didn't melt in my mouth like I was hoping it wou... The food at this restaurant was absolutely incredible! It exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was fantastic and I can't say enough good things about it. I was very impressed during my second visit. Last night, we celebrated my mother's birthday and the experience couldn't have been better. The staff even stopped to sing Happy Birthday to my mother, which was amazing. And the meal we had was outstanding. If you come across this restaurant or are in the mood for delicious food in a fantastic atmosphere, don't hesitate to give it a try.
For our Mardi Gras feast this year, we had the Taste of New Orleans with gumbo/jambalaya/red beans rice, the shrimp étouffée, catfish bites, a side of Mac and cheese, cornbread, and garlic bread. Everything was hot, fresh and seasoned to perfection! We'll definitely be back.
My husband and I decided to try out this restaurant for our 11th wedding anniversary on February 18, 2023. We came specifically to try their Charbroiled oysters, which were absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering two dozen of them. The quality of the oysters was comparable to that of Dragos in NOLA, which is a high standard to meet. We also tried the catfish bites and the crab cakes, both of which were extremely tasty. To finish off our meal, we had a sampler of gumbo, red beans and rice, and jambalaya. While all three were good, my personal favorite was the gumbo. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent, and we are definitely planning on returning and inviting our friends to join us.
Great food, great service, and great ambience! The shrimp po boy was packed with shrimp, Cajun fries and Gumbo were amazing, and the fried chicken was juicy and delicious! Not to mention that our daughter has a shellfish allergy so the owner was kind enough to grill her something on the side to ensure her food was kept separate. Will definitely be back!
This place was fantastic! Service was great. Food was delicious. My family enjoyed the everything!!
