Having lived in California for 11 years, I can honestly say this is the best pizza I've had since my time in NYC. I would put these slices and the meatballs up against any pizzeria in New York! Not many places serve authentic New York-style pizza, especially in LA, where most restaurants bake their pizzas on screens, which compromises the flavor. However, this place does it right—with hand-stretched dough placed on a wooden pizza peel before adding the sauce and cheese, just like a real pizza should be made.
