I have ordered a couple times from the virtual restaurant BBQ Taing associated with this establishment. I really like their pork ribs and seabass. The hot sauce is a nice tangy hot sauce and the condiments come in nice little plastic containers that you can reuse for some arts and crafts project. Well I used to go there years ago the food was very good and fresh the place still look the same is scrungy and you know the homeless come in in demand food I would like it a whole lot more if they would clean up the tables and not sell the food the next day it looks old and don't look fresh I can say after 30 something years is still standing and still serving food View all feedback.
Born and raised in East LA. Moved out in my teens, and been living in West Covina since 09, but I never fail to drop by LA once in a while. That said, I never knew this place existed and I've always wanted a good plate of fish and chips. Catch 21 did not disappoint and blew me away with the quality of the food. The fish and chips were nice and hot, crispy, and seasoned fries added to the flavor of hot sauce and tartar sauce with every bite. Definitely coming back to try other menu items. Highly recommend for those who crave fish and chips.

Four star eating, in the most unlikely place . Had a little hesitation about eating there because of the area(outskirts of skid row). Got to see another side of DTLA, Glad my friend coxed me into it. I would have given it five stars but I'm not into fried foods. Pretty sure one of the next time I go back and have non fried food I will add another. I still enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and give great customer service. I highly recommend this place for a meal. Fried food food beer.
