What Jeramiah Johnson doesn't like about Black Bear Diner:
I liked going to BBD in Vegas. But the one here in Torrance has never been good. Sorry but service is slow, food is unappealing. Once got the butt end of an orange with my meal. They pack the omelets with way too many ingredients. I don't want an entire can of spinach in my omelet please. Also the bell pepper is just raw and uncooked. I've tried justifying this restaurant but I really can't anymore. Has been terrible... View all feedback.
As always, the food and delivery were flawless. The 10 oz New York Steak and eggs were cooked just right. The Volcano entree was exactly what we craved for a late-night meal, and the Fettuccine Alfredo was incredible. I'm excited for breakfast to enjoy the hot oatmeal and biscuits with butter. Delicious!
You still make the best salads! I just have one complaint. I know everything is being scaled back, but my breakfast order looked like someone else's leftovers. Lol!
The 10 oz New York Steak Eggs is the best steak breakfast in the South Bay. The steak is expertly aged and cooked to perfection. The coffee is fantastic, and the thick-cut smoked bacon is simply delicious!
Very good food! The steak was flavorful and tender. The cornbread muffin was good, but a little dry. On the expensive side!
The NY steak was gorgeous and cooked to perfection. We love the thick-cut smoked bacon, and the hash browns are the best around town. Yum.
