Contribute FeedbackMelanee Thai offers a mixed bag of experiences, ranging from disappointment to delight. Some diners were left unimpressed by lackluster dishes and dry chicken, while others raved about the authentic flavors, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere. Chef Paul's magic touch has garnered a loyal following over the years. Despite some negative online reviews, the restaurant continues to shine as a gem in the LA dining scene. With late-night hours and delicious options, Melanee Thai is a must-try for any Thai food enthusiast looking for an authentic experience in a cozy setting.
Hands down, the WORST Thai I’ve ever ever had. I have no idea why this place has 4 stars, you’ve got to be so drunk and messed up to enjoy this place.I ordered the Chicken Tom Kha it was not good. There was a lot of chicken, a lot of DRY chicken. Soup itself was too sour, imagine watered down coconut milk and a lot of vinegar.I was super excited to order my favourite: Khao Soi but this place butchered it so much I wanted to cry. They used instant noodle cooked al dente with a lot of the driest chicken again. Flavours were not there either. There was nothing redeeming about my experience. If you’re looking for a late night bite, PLEASE do yourself a favour and get some In and Out.
In town on a business trip and left the hotelto find someplace to eat dinner. Found Melanie Thai and had Spicy Chicken Salad, Coconut Rice and a glass of white wine. Delicious! I really enjoyed and would go back again.
Large portion. Not spicy enough for 4 star spice level. Went early so was only person there but service good.
Great customer service and the quality of the food is delicious. Bring your date or your family here, so good ?Food: 5/5
It was alright. The food was okay, nothing special, but it is a place to go to when there are no other Thai places open where you want to sit down. Other than that, hey the chili paste is actually sort of spicy here. Haha
