Feedback
Apparently we hadn't landed at the Echo restaurant in Lorch, but the recommendation of a friend would have made us curious. We were not disappointed! In addition to the Swabian cuisine, the clear but balanced map also offers fusion cuisine and seasonal offers. The quality and presentation of the dishes made our well-pampered culinary requirements more than joy without being overcrowded. My friend had ordered the seasonal menu that consisted of a wild-powered broth with a grits (appearant) and a duck on blue wort with dumplings (main course). The power broth honored her name and would probably have brought back all the sick. But better still was my appetizer, a table tip marinated with lenses that almost gave me spring feelings. Main course: The duck was fried for perfection (rosa), the napkin dumplings in consistency and taste exactly as they should be. Only the blue herb was too much spiced my girlfriend didn't feel like that. A special plus was the extra serving sauce we were offered without asking. If we weren't in the restaurant, but at home we could have spooned out the rest of the sauce, so delicious it was. To the main course we had recommended a Cabernet Sauvignon, which was not only excellent, but was also excellent for dinner during the day. As desserts we chose Nougat Grießklößchen with red wine plums or quinces Sorbet. For me, the Grießklößchen Nougat mixture did not work 100%, even if it was delicious and the red wine plums were a good addition to the sweet, juicy little club. But the quinces Sorbet was a revelation and could become a real racer, especially in the warm season. The past as a club restaurant is to be observed solely because of the floor plan in the restaurant room, but the warm interior as well as the friendly and very professional service ensure this. Price/performance: Prices may be higher than in the whole country. However, the quality of the offer is definitely worth it. Conclusion: Always for a special culinary experience.
