The downside of Backhaus Laquai is the abundance of delicious looking treats on display made it difficult to behave! So we opted...for the table in a turret. We had beautiful windows surrounding us. It made that coffee break a memorable moment in a magnificent trip. We were delighted to find our hotel's breakfast breads from the Laquai. What a great way to start a day of hiking on the Rhine!

Def... read more The cake (Schwarzenwaldtorte) was delicious, but the coffee was so extremely strong I left half a cup. The bread tastes good and the staff is very friendly. Definately worth wile another visit.
