Charleston Coffee House - Lorain

This is a fantastic spot to unwind with family or friends over a cup of coffee. The bohemian ambiance, friendly staff, and overall relaxing environment make it a perfect getaway. My mother and I could have easily stayed for hours; we just didn't want to leave. Plus, the food is absolutely amazing!

In the past, I had hesitated to return, but I decided to give this place another chance and was pleasantly surprised to see how it has thrived, like grass growing in a concrete jungle. The Lorain County Urban League has taken over the Charleston Coffee House as part of an entrepreneurial initiative, with young adults serving as trainee managers. The coffee here is delightful, and I will definitely be back. I visited twice a week, and I highly recommend this charming little coffee shop in Lorain.

I'm so glad I found this place. I moved to downtown Loarin over a month ago and this has become my regular place. They have a great tea selection and their coffee is freshly brewed and fantastic! Plus many great people go through these doors and I was able to meet wonderful people in Lorain, just sit from here, read a book or work my laptop. In any case, this place recommends to everyone in the area after an eclectic comfortable place to get a large cup of coffee.

This is a fantastic spot to grab a cup of coffee. The food is also delicious! Although the new staff forgot to prepare our order, Mark quickly issued a refund and had our meals ready in just a few minutes.

The corn beef was great and so was the tea the best tea I’ve ever had. Also, the owners were great to talk to.
