The mussels were delicious, simply cooked in wine and onion but we've never had better.

The title of my review may seem a little strange, the food was superb, but an incident means I would not eat here again.On the night we ate here the restaurant... read more The title of my review may seem a little strange, the food was superb, but an incident means I would not eat here again.On the night we ate here the restaurant was busy with seating at a premium. We ordered our meal, and during drinking our aperitifs a party of 3 arrived and pointed out a table for 2 and asked if a third chair could be placed to accommodate a 3rd. The waiter said it would block the path and turned the party away. Some 15 minutes later another party of 3 arrived and a chair was put at the table and they were served. No one else had left or arrived.So why was one party refused and minutes later a second accommodated. The first had coloured people in their party, the second was all white. I leave you to make your own conclusions

A busy evening was dealt with smoothly by what I assume is the owner, and sole waiter of the evening. The best pizza I've eaten since Naples, Italy - and a fantastic chocolate mousse as well!The Sicillienne pizza was a highlight!!
