They serve Dhaba Style Non Veg Food. Chicken Fry Thali was what I ordered. Bhakari (Bajari/Jowar), Fry Chicken Plate, Half of A Boiled Egg and Rassa. They have good taste as it had typical Dhaba feel to it. View all feedback.
Wonderful food, true maharashtrian food. Food has correct amount of spice. Some people may find it very hot but that's what real maharashtrian food is. Spice in not overpowering food is very flavoursome. But what the place lacks is a good ambience.

One amazing food experience!Three of us walked in. Had heard a lot about the place. Got a place quickly. Ordered a Mutton Alni Thali for all three of us along with Baajri Bhakri. We also ordered some mutton fry. The thali arrived in less than 5 minutes which was great because we were very hungry! And boy! The mutton pieces in the salty water looked good and gravy by the side was great! The Bhakris and the gravy here is unlimited. The taste- spot on! A bit on the spicier side, but if you like that kind of stuff this is the place for you. I have to say though that it wasn't overtly spicy but enough to give it the authentic Kolhapuri touch. The meat was cooked to perfection! The quantity was decent enough, 8 small pieces per plate. The mutton Masala was also very tasty. The size of Bhakri was huge and the taste again was spot on! People talk about ambience and all but my frank opinion is that when the food is so delightful and delicious, you don't need any additional ambience! All you need are tables and chairs and some decently hygienic place to sit and eat! But for those who do need to see some good stuff on the walls and lighting etc, this place can score a bit low! For me it totally worked!
If you are looking for authentic Maharashtrian menu, you will get it over here. Ambiance may not at all interesting but the food is value for money. Service is average.
My experience at kaveri was awesome.<br/ I ordered 'KAVERI SPECIAL MUTTON THALI '.<br/ Service was fast. Soon I got my thali.<br/ Primary dishes were MUTTON ALNI and MUTTON FRY accompanied by bowls extra gravy.<br/ Provision for unlimited rassa, rice, chapati and bhakri.<br/ <br/ Mutton alni and mutton fry were so tasty that one will be compelled to ignore the not so good ambiance of the place. Also the quantity of mutton pieces the serve is overwhelming.<br/ Mutton was cooked to perfection. It was spicy but not overspiced.<br/ The chapatis and bhakris were extraordinary. Also the size of the chapati/bhakri was huge.<br/ Hats off for the chef.<br/ <br/ Most of the places serving non-veg thalis include egg curry bowl to compensate the lesser quantity of non-veg pieces. But the Thali at kaveri doesn 't need that 'DUMMY EGG CURRY BOWL ' since the quantity is already overwhelming.<br/ <br/ <br/ I add photos only if the place is rated 4 or more by me something extraordinary.
