What Debbie doesn't like about F D Italian:
We went on a Friday night and it was busy but we has a reservation. It was very, very noisy. I had the wood fired 12 in Queen Bee pizza $16.25 and my companion had the 12 in Margarita pizza, $14.00. We both had ice tea. They both looked good but when we went to take a slice the topping started sliding off the slices. The dough was very soggy, way to much sauce. I can’t say it was worth the price. The soggy dough made... View all feedback.
Absolut GEM! First time here, won't be my last. This place was amazing. The service was fantastic, and the PIZZA- oh LA LA damn delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, also loved the fact at certain tables you could watch the fire for thepizzas. Definitely will be back. Great stop.
I had a wonderful lunch during the middle of the week. Other reviews are spot on about the exterior appeal being totally different from the interior. I too have passed this place many times. Very pleasantly surprised when I walked inside as thefirst guest at 11:30. The lunch menu featured their signature pizzas and a variety of choices that will keep me comingback. Schawnte was welcoming and helpful with my choices. My choice was the Italian Panini House made focaccia, mortadella, capicola salami, pesto aioli, roasted red peppers, aged provolone. Delicious. F D Woodfired Italian Kitchen will be adestination for the food, service and décor.
I pass this place probably everyday and I've never gotten the chance to eat here till yesterday. It was pouring down rain and I saw online their fresh mushroom pasta that looked really good. It was in a wine sauce I'm pretty sure and had spinach. So thefood was delicious. I would absolutely eat here again and try more things. The inside decor was cute and cozy. The only issue(and it's my fault I totally asked for it) was I asked for the pasta to have extra sauce, and it was drowning in sauce. Thiswouldn't have bothered me if it weren't for the cardboard to-go container it was in and it became so soggy and it soaked throughthe bottom of the container it was so saucy. The sauce was delicious. But I was definitely Lost In The Sauce.
It's a hard NO. I won't be back. Portions are ridiculously small. Food was Bland and it felt more like waiting than eating. There's a science to the Bottomless 19.95 Brunch offer. Manufactured Delays. The only bright side was that we didn'torder the bottomless drinks too. Kinda felt Robbed. Trust me, you'll regret it.
Food was amazing. That garlic bread just does something you ya when you eat it. Lunch menu is perfect and so was our waitress Rebecca. Food was hot, great seasoning and filling. Queens Bees pizza is perfect for the sweet heat lover.
