Food was awesome... had the family meal with my wife.. orange chicken was great, egg roll was on point and so was the soup. Will be coming back many more times for dinner.
Used to come here ages ago and it was amazing but not anymore. Overpriced,small portions and damn near inedible. I had general TSOs with fried rice and egg roll. Egg roll and chicken were both overcooked and the rice was stale. Sweet and sour sauce wasbasically red jelly and it like everything else, had no flavor. I forced myself to eat 3 or 4 spoonfuls before I started to feelsick. It's now residing in my trash can where it belongs. I only wish I could get my money back. Go to China King instead, beatsthe pants off this place.
Had a bad experience here and it took us two years to try Magic China again but we're so glad we did! The food was so good! The shrimp fried rice was packed full of shrimp and was bursting with flavor!
It was alright. I mainly had a problem with crunchy rice in every bite. The rolls were really oily. My wife had the shrimp w/ Lo mein that was good.
New to the area and we drive to lindale or gilmer for Chinese food but decided to try these place because of the reviews. We were so disappointed. We ordered 2 chicken lo-meins and an order of crab Rangoon. We paid $2 more on one for extra veggies. Wegot home and go a small to go container as one order and the one with extra veggies was in a larger to go box and it lookedexactly like the other one, SO NO EXTRA VEGETABLES! Our total was $30 for nothing but noodles, cabbage, onions and a few piecesof diced chicken. They were dry and sticky. Very overcooked noodles. No taste at all. The crab Rangoon were $6.99 and to sweetto even enjoy. We didn't not go back because we like 45 mins away. Won't return.

Awesome chinease food. Best in east texas. Please visit this location often. We need to keep it around. Great prices and the food is delicious. We finally found real chinease food.

I really want to give Magic China a good rating because of its location, but it’s been difficult so far. I’ve been three times (including tonight), and each visit something has fallen short. This time, I called ahead and asked several questions, even telling the English-speaking woman that I had only been there twice before, to better understand their dishes. She seemed to answer my questions, so I placed my order. I asked for green beans with garlic sauce, even though it’s not on the menu. Unfortunately, the green beans were overcooked and mushy, with no garlic flavor at all. I ended up adding my own garlic salt. Plus, due to traffic, they turned into a corn starch-like jelly by the time I got home. The woman on the phone didn’t tell me the price or how long it would take for the order to be ready; after she took my name, she was gone. I went to an Asian market on the way and then picked up the food. We spent $50 on two small soups, a large fried rice, two dishes, an egg roll appetizer, and the green beans. The chicken Mei fun was good, and the mushroom chicken soup was my favorite. The egg rolls were also good, so my issue isn’t with the quality of all the food—just the green beans. When I called back to ask why the green beans were so different from what I expected and why there was no garlic flavor, the woman quickly blamed it on me picking up the order late, saying that’s why the green beans turned mushy. But she never gave me a time frame, so I assumed 15 to 20 minutes like most places. I tried to explain this, but she ignored my concerns. Then, when I asked the price of the green beans, instead of politely telling me, she told me to check the receipt she stapled to the bag. I wasn’t rude or curt at any point—kindness is important to me—but her response was unprofessional. I simply said, “live and learn,” hoping she might offer to replace the green beans, considering I had asked for a specific dish over the phone. But clearly, that’s not something they do here. I wish they’d ask clarifying questions when someone calls in, especially after I mentioned several times that I’m not big on sauces. She should have told me the dish would have a heavy level of sauce like in Texas—that would have changed my order. Also, if a flavor is mild, especially when I clearly expected garlic, that should be communicated. Regardless of how many call-ins they take, giving a rough pickup time would really help someone unfamiliar with the place. For those who like vegetables, she said they steam the green beans first, then stir-fry them and add sauce afterwards—no wonder they’re mushy! If you want firm green beans, you might want to avoid this dish. Since they don’t have any printed veggie dishes on the menu, it’s hard to know what to expect. She did mention a veggie delight, but I imagine the heavy sauce on that would overpower the vegetables. I hope this helps anyone curious about Magic China and wants to have a better experience there!

I freaking love this place! I have been ordering here for 3 years now and not once have I been disappointed. I would recommend this place to everyone! ??

A weekly goto!! We love the fresh food and gave always had good service. Some people are never happy.
Best Chinese in town. You will have good service if you are a good customer.
Absolutely the best Chinese food in Longview! While the restaurant itself may not have the best appearance, the food definitely makes up for it. My orders are always accurate, and my meals are consistently cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding as well. You know you’ve visited a place enough times when the staff already knows your favorite dishes!

Love this place, but haven't been here in several months. Prices of course have gone up, but more importantly they have changed their egg rolls! They were flavorless!! Otherwise, meal service was still good!

I had a wonderful dining experience with my wife. We ordered the family meal, and everything was fantastic. The orange chicken was delicious, the egg roll was perfect, and the soup was equally impressive. We definitely plan to come back for dinner many times!
It is small but adequate and the food was GREAT and received very fast! We had an early dinner and ate inside. They have seating for 40? But their drive thru was BUSY! they obviously have a lot of regulars who pick up and go. Large menu options and prices are reasonable. Service was very good and prompt and she even made menu suggestions that would offer more for our money. I had the lemon chicken with crab ragoon and soup and egg roll. All very very good.

When we got home, we found that the to-go container for the dish with extra veggies was the same size as the other, and there were no extra veggies at all! We ended up paying $30 for a meal consisting mostly of noodles, cabbage, onions, and a few small pieces of chicken. The noodles were dry, sticky, and overcooked, lacking flavor altogether. The crab rangoon, priced at $6.99, were overly sweet and unenjoyable. We won’t be returning, especially since it took us 45 minutes to get there.

We had a negative experience at this restaurant previously, which made us hesitant to return for two years. However, we’re really glad we gave Magic China another chance! The food was excellent! The shrimp dish was loaded with shrimp and packed with flavor!
