Really good (seemingly) authentic TexMex food in Longview.
Chips: okSalsa: pretty goodQueso: obviously made from a powder mix, based on the consistency; mediocre. Tacos al carbon: very good.
This was my second time to come to Carlito'sThe first was a work luncheon, and this time it was for dinner with my husband.
We dined here a while back and had a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the Mexican Vermicelli Soup and the Zelda's Special. We also tried the Chips with Hot Sauce and a Pecan dessert.
I ordered the Zeldas special to go, and all the food looked freshly prepared. While the guacamole lacked flavor, everything else was delicious.
