They were small, cubed, and cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. The meal also included toast and jam, as well as crispy bacon—all of which were delectable. To top it off, the coffee was excellent. I sat on the terrace overlooking the main road, and even though Longview can get busy in the summer, this is a spot you shouldn't miss for a wonderful meal. The restaurant has a classic, old-fashioned vibe both inside and out, and the charming little veranda terrace is lovely. I even had my kitty with me, who was securely tied to the post. The sun was shining, and the food was truly great at Root 22. The atmosphere was welcoming, filled with wonderful people, and the flavors left a delightful impression that lingered throughout the day. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot, this is it! So, if you're passing through Longview, make sure to stop by Route 22—you won't regret it, and your taste buds will thank you!
