View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurant la Magia:
View all feedback.
Excellent food, very attractive decor and excellent service. Alexander is a great waiter. Sauces are delicious, especially the mushroom sauce. The warm salad was absolutely delicious.
The lunch special was lower priced than other similar restaurants in the area, and the restaurant is very popular. If you want a sit down lunch and a nice place to sit, this is a great place. If you are a foodie , go elsewhere. It was a real disappointment for a vacation meal. The meal was barely acceptable. Soup so salty that I had the server add a bowl of hot water to make it edible. The dehydrated spice mixture (maybe onion salt) on top didn 't help. Osso Bucco was tasteless and was more like stewed meat, and covered in canned tomato sauce. Not a rich, slow cooked baked delight you can have almost anywhere else. Pizza was ok, but no comparison to pizza in New York or Italy.
We went for pasta, the one with sea food was just perfect with good taste, the linguini on the other side was missing a little touch of taste, so I will say that one was average. The menu has a decent varieties, the service was excellent. It was a pleasant dinner.
We were here with a tour group. The group dining is upstairs and the restrooms are in the basement. There is no elevator, which makes it a little difficult for people with mobility issues. They also have outdoor dining which is very nice. The food was presented well and was very tasty.
Magia offers great pizzas and pasta dishes but there are some other great menu items that are must tries such as the very generous warm salad and the salmon tartare. The staff is extremely friendly.
