What a fabulous little Inn, conveniently located next to the best restaurant in Longreach and just a garden walk away from the airport and Qantas Founders Outba... read more What a fabulous little Inn, conveniently located next to the best restaurant in Longreach and just a garden walk away from the airport and Qantas Founders Outback Museum.The rooms were cozy, a little confusing that the deluxe room seemed to me to be no different from the standard room, so perhaps room naming could do with some work, but overall we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again on our next trip for sure.

I decided, when I booked back in February that we would upgrade ourselves to a deluxe room at the Longreach Motor Inn. The room was to include robes, recliner lounges etc as stated on their website.After checking in and I might add we were giving no direction as to where our room was, on seeing we had no clue where to go a gentleman came out and pointed us in the correct direction.Once back in our room, we found one lounge chair no robes, a dirty garbage bin and the oldest worn chair I have ever seen. I rang the manager to complain about what we paid for and what we received. Never in my many years of travel have I been spoken to so rudely. The so called manager said move out now and I'll give you a refund!!!!! By this time it was 7pm at night. Next thing a massive knock on the door and the said manager said are you moving out and I said where are we going to go at this time. I told her I was extremely disappointed. Pointed out the chair and bin, not once was there a sorry. The manager was abrupt and dismissive and personally should not be managing an establishment. Be warned the room we were in was worn tired and dirty.

Yes, the place looks a little old, but with what they have, it was a great stay. comfortable bed, cold air cone, steaming hot shower, the rooms and bathroom wer... read more Yes, the place looks a little old, but with what they have, it was a great stay. comfortable bed, cold air cone, steaming hot shower, the rooms and bathroom were super clean. the room also had a microwave that was handy and an imer charge of paid TV channels, what could you want more? a few people in the Flauro workwear stay here but everything was super quiet in the night. restaurant has made a super steak!
