The service was quick and friendly. It was our first visit, and the cashier kindly explained the menu options with a smile. The food was good, though not extraordinary. The restrooms were clean. They offered some unique beverage choices. For vegetarians, there were several Mediterranean options available. Parking was convenient, as the restaurant is located in a large strip mall. What User doesn't like about Panera Bread:
Panera has consistently disappointed me. I know this review may come across as harsh, but I have my reasons. Every time I place an order, something goes wrong. How do you confuse chicken soup with cheddar broccoli? Or switch my sandwich for something entirely different? On top of that, I paid $11 for a sandwich that wasn't even that good. I've given Panera too many chances already. View all feedback.
I even hate to rotate a star, but I have to do that because of the slow counterfeit I experienced on the morning, that is when they are in the rule in the greatest hurry of their day. the foods and drinks are in the regular good, but I have got the bottom of the barrel of the suppe several times for having to take away another star. seems that an upgrade in management would do the trick, but the feared C word seems to get rid of quality customer service. Anyway, here's a cheerful portrait of my coffee and croissant.
Food is really good but service is terrible. Examples: walked in and the whole floor was sticky to the point where every step makes a sound. Tell staff, and their response is Ohh..... but does nothing about it.Example 2: order a sandwich but want a different sauce on it that it originally comes with. Staff member tells me they are not allowed to change it. Argue that both in the app and at the self serve kiosk I have that option, so makes me order using the self serve kiosk. I 'm sure they have a reason for it if it 's a valid process, but it is bad customer service regardless!!!
I've gone to many Paneras, this location especially, and the food was wonderful as always (I ordered the you-pick-two with broccoli cheddar soup and ceasar salad with add-ons and a caramel latte for $22.48). However, the member who took my order was notably rude. First time seeing her, Elvera interrupted me many times taking my order today, to the point she forgot what I answered, and was in such a hurry to talk to her coworker while I was paying (when there were no other customers around me) that she didn't say goodbye or make eye contact with me when she abruptly handed me my receipt. I was having a rough day and wanted to treat myself to feel better, and that interaction made me feel worse and eager to leave.I'll be coming back, but only doing self-service option to avoid her and any possible negative interaction.
I'm honestly really sad to write this because I've always loved the food here, but it's just not worth it anymore.... at this point it's just an addiction and once I eat my food I realize I could get all of this at the grocery store for far less, but that's not why I go. I go for the convenience of having my food made for me and today, spent 17$ on one you pick two for myself, granted I get the avocado stuff which makes it more expensive, but they don't even fill the salad containers to half anymore and every time I ask for frizzled onions on top they only give me a pinch? And the dressing cups aren't even halfway filled anymore so I don't get why they still come in a big container... im not sure why this panera stopped serving quality portions, but I'm going to have to stop eating here.A plate of food here is priced like food served at a concert and I just don't understand the upcharge WITH decreased portions.
Lady at the counter blatantly ignored my order of 2 bakery items. waited 20 mins, and refused to get my order. she had no issues helping every other folk that showed up while I waited. I had to escalate and ask for a refund and get the manager to help me. ridiculous. not coming back here again.
