Excellent meal in restaurant recommend the sirlion steak boiled to perfection. very good service from all there. the rooms are very clean. the staff is very friendly and nothing is much annoyed

5 of us thought we would try a lunch...I honestly couldn't fault the food..the pie was made from scratch ..so bit of a wait but well worth it...pulled pork burger was great..chips nice and crispy and hot..no complaints at all welcoming land lady and land lord..very quiet inside for such a lovely place

I've been looking forward to dining here for quite some time, and after several attempts to book a table, I finally made an early reservation for Mother's Day. It was pure joy to discover that they offered a carvery! At first glance, you might not think it's the safest choice, but the staff, including the friendly owners and hardworking women, are dedicated to providing a delightful lunch that is both tasty and plentiful. Keep in mind that this is a local pub, not a chain restaurant, and I believe it offers outstanding service and great food. The only downside for some (including my husband) is that there are no tragic desserts. The ice cream options looked incredibly appealing, but my husband was disappointed. However, for me, that was a blessing in disguise!

This charming little pub offers a delightful experience! The landlord is incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the evening, and the full English breakfast the next morning was excellent. Our room was clean, tidy, warm, and the bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the printed instructions for the television—it was very handy. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely return on our next visit!
