What User doesn't like about The Boars Head:
I ordered soup with brown bread, but when it arrived, it came with white bread instead. I had to call the waitress over to address this mistake. To make matters worse, the soup was incredibly salty and the bread was stale, so I sent it back. I then had to wait for the menu to get a replacement, which turned out to be an old option that was only mediocre, but at least it was edible.

Had a four night stay due to work, the staff couldn't do enough, top grade Chef and a warm welcome ready for returning from a 12 hr shift, will stay again

I had a fantastic and generous meal at this restaurant, and I was especially pleased to find it dog-friendly, which is unfortunately quite rare in this country.
We had our first takeaway of the year tonight—fish and chips from the Boars Head—and we were really impressed! The portion was generous, and the mushy peas were a delightful addition. We can’t wait to have them again! I definitely recommend it! Thank you!
