It was close to closing time so the cashier had a bit of annoyance when she asked if we were staying and I said—yes. She promptly asked that we make it fast—we did. My curiosity made me overlook this substandard service. I bought the strawberry shortcake, mango kiwi mousse cake and the chocolate croissant. They get a 10 for their presentation but both cakes were disappointing. The mango kiwi mousse cake had a jiggly jello consistency—I did not taste the richness of a mousse—though the flavor was good. The strawberry shortcake felt almost hard and tasted tart. The chocolate croissant would have been the most promising if I had gotten it right after baking. It had the right amount of chocolate but stale from the morning (I hope). I will not be returning here.
