Had an amazing lunch at the Yard House in Long Beach. The drinks were strong and tasty-Pink Dragon and Grand Patron Margarita. The Poke Nachos are a must! Light, fresh and flavorful-I loved them. The Onion Tower was great, Carnivore Pizza, delicious. My daughter inhaled a Brooke, so I assume it was good. Service was attentive and professional. Pricing was appropriate for the dining experience. Can?t wait to visit aga... View all feedback.
What Maurice doesn't like about Yard House:
We ate here at the bar for happy hour drinks and some food. The boneless wings were pretty dry and the chicken nachos were pretty satisfactory, as were the burger sliders, and the service. I enjoyed the quinoa, cauliflower rice and chicken meal. The issue was the service. Our server was nice, but all our food and drinks came out at different times. I also found every cocktail to be super sweet.
We arrived at the restaurant late and it was very busy. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious, despite being cream based. It had plenty of avocado on top and large chunks of chicken. We added it to our entree for an additional $4. I even got one to go and it was just as tasty. I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The lobster and seafood garlic noodle pasta cost $26 and had a good amount of lobster, although the shrimp were a bit smaller. There wasn't much crab in it, but overall it was decent, though it lacked a little flavor. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. My husband really enjoyed his jambalaya Cajun dish, which had a generous amount of crawfish tails, large shrimp, and sausage. It cost $20 and he would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was good, but the location was too loud for our liking. We appreciated being contacted when our table was ready and would consider returning.
A group of five of us went to this restaurant for dinner outdoors on a weekday evening in January. The food was fantastic. I ordered the lavender tea and we shared the spinach dip and cheese curds, both of which were excellent. The entrees were all very large portions. I tried the lobster garlic noodles and really enjoyed them. One of my friends had the jambalaya, which was outstanding and reminded me of what I've had in New Orleans. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they neglected to refill our water and also forgot to provide utensils with our entrees, despite being asked twice.
