You won't be able to beat these prices for the portion you are receiving in Long Beach. Overall happy with our experience! We tried the chow menu with beef, pork fried rice, and a side order of bao buns. Next time we will swap fried rice for egg drop soup. The women working were very kind. It took about 25 minutes for our order to turn up, so order ahead if possible! View all feedback.
What Helen K doesn't like about Thumbs Up Express:
Ordered the General Tso's chicken with fried rice and sprite for $8~ around lunch time. You can't really beat that price for what you get. It was your standard typical Chinese food but the portion size was good and it was yummy! View all feedback.

Found this little gem on Yelp today 10/16/23. I called to order a pickup and was told it'd take 15 min. I ordered the lunch portion Honey Garlic Chicken. I had my choice of fried or white rice, an egg roll and soup or soda. I selected the fried rice and wonton soup. I also ordered Honey walnut shrimp and it came with white rice. My total billl was about $26. The wonton soup was delicious and almost soothing. I didn't finish my lunch but it's just as tasty. Can't wait to get to my honey walnut shrimp. I will be back. You better go try it.
Great food with great portions and always made fresh. The pricing is comparable to those place that have a myriad of options under a warming lamp with the big difference being that your order is made fresh every time. Love the general Tso chicken

JJ's is pretty much your quintessential Chinese takeout joint for those living in the neighborhoods near Redondo and Anaheim. With an extensive menu with all the classics, if you're craving some fresh and steaming hot American style Chinese food, this spot has you covered. Their food pretty much comes in two sizes half and full. The full sized serving is substantial, with a lot of food for the cost. They're generous with vegetables, often incorporating them and stretching some of the dishes further and adding some freshness to their dishes. Our family often goes for the pork fried rice (ask for some Chinese mustard for bonus points and some sinus clearing action), vegetable chow mein (greasy noodly goodness), General Tso's chicken (sooooo good), and Szechuan beef (spicy with tons of veggies). Everything we've tried has been delicious though. If you've read this far, I hope you check them out!
